Every Dromoz
user can become an editor to improve the directory. You
can delete a directory record or move it to a different category/topic.
The process of moving and deleting content is democratic by nature.
A user initiates the process by suggesting a directory
record for deletion or movement. Other users will vote to support, or
to oppose this suggestion. Depending on the voting result, the suggestion
could actually take place (i.e. the record is deleted/moved), or it could
be cancelled. The status of the process is indicated by a color bar, as
shown below.

If you feel that the current
category/topic of a directory record is not the best one for it, you can
move it to a more suitable category/topic. Just click on the "Move"
link located at the bottom of the record, choose the new category/topic
and enter your reason for moving it there.
Your suggestion
will then be voted upon by other users. If the majority agrees with you,
the directory record will be automatically moved to the new category/topic.
If not, your suggestion will be cancelled. During the voting process,
a color bar will indicate whether your suggestion is succeeding or failing.
Alternatively,
you can also vote on other users' suggestions. Vote `Yes' to support,
or `No' to oppose a movement. A list of the latest suggestions
to move can be found here.
If you feel that a directory
record should be deleted, just click on the "Delete" link
located at the bottom of the record, and enter your reason for deleting
it.
Your suggestion

In general,
you should delete a directory record that ...
- does not contain any useful information at all.
- contains information not related to places in Malaysia.
- is an exact, or is mostly a repetition of another existing directory
record.
- is indecent, offensive to others, or inappropriate for the directory.
- is frivolous, inane or vandalistic.
