You can make a difference. Like any
community, you get what you give. The Dromoz
Project provides the opportunity for everyone
to contribute. If you are a resident of Malaysia, or the owner of a Malaysiana
website, or someone who is familiar with Malaysia; this is the opportunity
for you to make a difference. For just a few minutes of your time you
can help make useful information about places in Malaysia easily accessible
and freely available to everyone on the Web.
If you are someone who is
interested in places in Malaysia, you can help us in the following ways
...
- Make use of Dromoz to find information about places in Malaysia.
Search the directory
to find out what and where a place is. For fans of Google, you can also bring Dromoz along by clicking:
 or add Dromoz Button to Google Toolbar ...
- If the information you want is not listed
yet in the directory, submit a
request to other users for help.
- Assist other users by replying
to the submitted requests. Or, you can adopt a category which you are familiar with and reply to requests in your niche only.
- Add new information about places not listed yet in the directory.
Navigate to the most suitable category and click on the "Add
Place" link at the bottom right corner.
- Rate the directory records (Requests,
Places
or Replies) in terms of their usefulness. Click on the "Rate
info" link at the bottom of a record and give a rating between
-5 points (worst) to +5 points (best). Learn more about Dromoz

- Rate the users
in terms of their helpfulness. Click on the "Rate user"
link at the bottom of a user profile and give a rating between -5 points
(worst) to +5 points (best). Learn more about user
rating ...
- Vote to move
a record to a more suitable category/topic. Click on the "Move"
link at the bottom of a record to suggest a move. Learn more about moving
content ...
- Vote to delete a record. Click on the "Delete"
link at the bottom of a record to suggest a delete. Learn more about deleting content ...
... and finally, you
can also help spread the word about Dromoz by inviting
your friends to visit us.
If you are the owner of a
website related to Malaysia, you can support us in the following ways ...
- Put a metasearch box on your website.
- Add a category search box to your website.
- Add a topic search box to your website.
- Generate search
links on your website by script.
- Put a banner on your website.
If you are using Dromoz to search
for information only, there is no need to register.
If you are contributing content to Dromoz,
you are required to provide a user name and a password
when you submit content for the first time. Thereafter, you can continue
using the same user name. That's all. There is no registration
form to fill out.
